Privacy policy

This policy covers craftfood.gg ("the site", "we"). It explains what we collect when you visit and what we do with it.

What we collect

Visiting the site automatically sends us the usual technical details: IP address, browser and operating system, the page that referred you, the pages you view and for how long, and the time of your visit. There are no accounts, so we never ask for your name or email address.

Saved in your browser

The calculator's Recipe Finder and Kitchen Planner keep your ingredient inventory, your kitchen and the recipes you have cooked in your browser's local storage, so they are still there on your next visit. That data stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing the site's data in your browser removes it.

Cookies, ads and analytics

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, or through the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative opt-out pages. Visitors in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland see Google's consent message on their first visit and choose whether ads can be personalised. You can change that choice at any time with the Privacy settings link at the bottom of every page.

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use, so we know what to improve. You can block cookies in your browser; the site still works without them.

How we use it

We use this data to run and fix the site, decide what to build next, show ads and stop abuse. We share it only with the services above (Google), when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold, and opt out of targeted advertising. California residents have these rights under the CCPA. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and children

We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes above or the law requires. The site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top.
